During cement production, the raw material reaches temperatures of approximately 1450°C in the kiln. The clinker granules, initially sent from the kiln to the isokinetic inlet, are cooled to 65°C plus ambient temperature in cooling equipment operating on the principle of immediate cooling. The reason for employing cooling equipment based on the immediate cooling principle is to provide the appropriate phase composition of the processed clinker between various temperatures. Additionally, the immediate cooling process is crucial for maximizing heat recovery to the secondary and tertiary air. The cold air required by the cooling equipment to perform the immediate cooling process is returned to the system by a certain number of fans beneath the clinker bed with the aid of compressed air.
